FTS Fire Hydrant Testing and Inspection Service
Since 1989, fire hydrants located on private property remain the responsibility of the property owner, or person who manages that property. It is their legal responsibility to maintain the fire hydrants and keep them in good working order.
Fire hydrants should be subject to an inspection every six months and a full test and inspection annually to ensure the hydrant remains ready and in working condition for Fire Brigade use.
FTS provide a fully comprehensive inspection and testing service. In accordance with BS9990:2015 & BS750:2012 our qualified service engineers would ensure your site fire hydrants are fully serviceable, in good working condition and have been pressure and flow tested.
